During my trip to Raja Ampat last November 2021, I found out that my Cressi Console 2 SPG is hard to read since it front cover is so dirty. Submersible Pressure Gauge (SPG) Cressi Console 2 saya karena sudah lama tidak dipergunakan harus dibersihkan. Berikut adalah langkah-langkah yang saya lakukan pada saat membersihkan SPG Cressi.
Cressi Console 2 mempunya dua bagian terpisah yang terdiri dari alat ukur kedalaman dan alat ukur tekanan udara. Alat ukur tekana udara terletak di bagian bawah. Pitas konsol tersebut untuk mengeluarkan SPG dari kelongsongnya.
Cressi Console 2 consists two parts, depth meter on the upper and SPG on the bottom parts. Use hand to release the SPG from its console.
Apabila sudah keluar dari selongsongnya, ulurkan saluran udara (hose) agar SPG terlepas lebih jauh.
Pull out the SPG by pushing the SPG hose from the bottom of the console.
Gunakan dua buah kunci pas untuk membuka SPG dengan selangnya.
Use two wrenches to open the SPG’s hose.
Akhirnya SPG sudah terlepas dari selangnya. Perhatikan ada pin di dalamnya.
Please note there is a pin inside the SPG.
Untuk memudahkan tutup depan, sebelumnya saya jemur agar badan SPG agak sedikit mengembang. Saya jemur dibawah matahari pagi sekitar 10 menit.
Use screw driver to pull out front cover. To make easier, I put the SPG under the sun for around 10 minutes. Sun heat will expand its metal body, making easier to pull out its front cover.
Akhirnya tutup depan SPG sudah bisa dilepas dan siap untuk dibersihkan.

Untuk menutup kembali, gunakan langkah kebalikannya. Namum perlu diperhatikan langkah-langkah berikut untuk memasang kembali Cressi Console 2.
To warp up everything cleaning, please follow the instruction in the reverse order. Please note the following tips to make it easier.
Make sure just using hand to place it front cover back. Please make sure the o-ring is properly installed.
Untuk memasang kembali tutupnya, cukup ditekan menggunakan tanga. Pastika o-ringnya terpasang dengan baik.
I use a big screw driver to help me to put SPG to its console.
Saya gunakan obeng agak besar untuk memudahkan memasang SPG pada tempatnya di konsol.

ANALOGICAL DEPTH GAUGE
It is a high quality instrument with a metal case and membrane functioning and has a large parabolic scale.
On the luminescent face the first 12 metres, which correspond to the area of decompression stops, are spaced out and perfectly legible.
The end scale is at 70 metres (or 230 feet in the imperial version) and the face is divided into three different coloured zones: green up to 20 metres, light blue from 20 to 40 metres, red from 40 metres to the end of the scale.
The instrument has a maximum depth indicator that blocks on the maximum depth reached during the dive.
MINI PRESSURE GAUGE
The Cressi mini pressure gauge is a small, light-weight gauge that has been specifically designed to avoid excessive strain on the HP hose that connects to the first stage of the regulator.
The instrument has a metal case in chromium plated brass and is therefore extremely strong.
The front glass is made so that it also acts as a pressure relief valve.
In the event of a sudden increase in pressure inside the instrument, the glass rises slightly, allowing the excess pressure to escape.
The luminescent dial is calibrated up to 350 bar in the metric version and 5000 psi in the imperial one.
The area below 50 bar is highlighted in red, the one between 50 and 200 is green and that from 200 to the end of the scale is light blue.
The instrument is housed in a small, modern shaped console, made from polycarbonate and desmopan, two materials that guarantee protection from shocks and scratches and which, at the same time, are very light.
The pressure and depth gauges are positioned in such a way that both instruments can be read quickly and easily in any conditions.
At the end of the console, slightly to the sides, there are two loops for fastening the instrument to the jacket so that it does not hang down with the risk of catching and damaging the environment.
